Mr. Moustapha Sarhank

Chairman of the Board & Angel Investor

Moustapha Sarhank is Chairman Emeritus of Sarhank Group for Investments, a regional holding and private equity company with dual headquarters in Egypt and Geneva specialized in systems build-up and systems integration in the Agriculture, Gas, Oil, Protection and IT sectors. He is currently President of International Business Associates Group (IBAG), Western Union Money Transfer Agent since 1995 and President of IBA Media, the oldest Middle East Publisher since 1979. He is a senior fellow of the Olsson Center for Applied Ethics at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business with an affinity in the intermarriage fields of Leadership, Business Ethics, Faith, Religion and Responsible Management Decision Making of which he regularly lectures Darden MBA students. Mr. Sarhank is Chairman of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the School of Business at AUC.

A strong communicator driven by an unwavering consumer centric focus to develop and implement transformative commercial and communications strategies to enhance business practices, increase market share and profitability. Strong knowledge of business processes and negotiations with venture capital.

Mrs. Shahira Zeid

Mrs. Shahira Zeid, Chairman MZ Investments, graduate American University in Cairo, 1982, Business Administration. MZ Investments was established by late Magdy Zeid, as a private equity group, investing in fields of tourism, hotels, agriculture, transportation, insurance and IT. Mrs. Zeid is Vice Chairman, Maridive Group, one of the top marine and offshore oil services companies. Shahira Zeid ranked one of 200 most powerful Arab women by Forbes Magazine in 2014 and also one of 50 most influential Arab women by Forbes Magazine 2008/9. She is member of the Board of Egypt’s International Economic Forum; Canada Egypt Business Council; Children are the Future Foundation, Egypt; Education for Employment Foundation Egypt; and member of Arab International Women’s Forum; American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt; Egyptian Council of Foreign Affairs; I, the Egyptian; Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation.

Mr. Ismail Sarhank

A graduate of the American University in Cairo and a student of the disciplines of economics and marketing with previous experience at multinational corporations such as Henkel. Ismail Sarhank brings to the equation the youthful modern-day vision that is innate to his generation. As part of the target market and the very generation that will eventually take over the industries through which we operate, Sarhank adds to the mix the bold and fresh intuition of someone who grew up witnessing the birth of “New Media” and grew into it.

Mrs. Madeleine Harrison

Mrs. Harrison graduated from Cairo American College (CAC) in 1991, she returned to the States to attend Austin College in Sherman, Texas and spent her junior year in Lyon, France. Currently working in the capacity of Corporate Communications Advisor for International Business Associates Group (IBAG). Mrs. Harrison joined IBAG in 1996. IBAG operates as a country representative for Western Union in Egypt as well as being the publisher of the leading English monthly magazines in Egypt; Egypt Today and Business Today. Mrs. Harrison enjoys a unique skill set that allows her to flourish in her business development / corporate communications role for the group. Due to her distinctive experience she enjoys a unique multi-cultural outlook on issues that allows her to capitalize on opportunities through insights otherwise not identified by her peers. She is focused on developing and securing corporate endorsements and approvals aimed at forging strategic alliances with corporate entities inside and outside of Egypt. More recently, and as a direct result of the political turmoil that Egypt had witnessed, Mrs. Harrison initiated direct communications with the key players in the key market sectors in Egypt aiming to jumpstart a dialogue to understand how incremental business value can be created in relation to public / government policies and their interdependency with the private sector. Her involvement and interaction with key foreign business entities in Egypt is helping her establish channels of information flow and discussion between multiple business sectors in order to gain a greater perspective on the current and future corporate environment in Egypt.
